Web conferencing and Homeschooling
Do you know of anyone who uses web conferencing technology as a homeschooling tool? I beleive it could be used to create small virtual classrooms that would enable kids to collaborate and interact with eachother. Story telling could be more interesting because teachers could take weekly turns reading and the children would see a new face each week? Teachers could setup support groups and meetup weekly-monthly.
I imagine Fritz Hinrichs is for his tutorials, he was doing video and blackboards and all sorts of other interesting things back years ago when everyone was still using dialup. Haven't checked in recently but I'd be surprised if he wasn't using video conferencing.

There's probably a few high schools / colleges that offer interactive programs to homeschoolers as well. For instance, eHarvey has been trying to reach homeschoolers recently:

What about individual home schoolers?
I would like to hear back from individual homeschooler parents...do you think there is a role for web conferencing in the home as a way of connecting with other parents?
