I have posted this on a different post as a helpful guide for someone but decided I might as well share it with everyone. These are all free resources for those who aren't able to afford expensive books, curriculums.

Language Arts A nifty site filled with worksheets ranging from beginners and working your way through to advanced language.

Science - ... mentebooks - Is great for science related experiments teaching your children about magnetism, electricity, chemistry and different aspects of science. *These experiments on the site are given to you for free with video tutorials.* ... nceLessons - This is an excellent free resource for science which categorizes different sections of science for years 1- 6 - Good for introduction to biology, physics and chemistry. You can obtain one of the books for free but then the others you can buy for a low cost. **PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT affiliated with this website, I just think it's a good science curriculum**

Cant help you out here since I don't know which country history you want hehe

Music: - Although a lot of children do learn music, I'm never fussed with it and most of the time don't teach it.

Arts - Is for free art resources. You will have to look around the site and find what you are looking for. A vast range of lessons on this site.

This is what I have found so far and will continue to find free helpful resources for you, however I am rushed to go to work now but I will keep posting later tonight.

I wish you goodluck in your homeschooling success ! :)

I have stickied this because it's a fairly large list and we may as well use the thread to store any other links to free resources that people feel like posting. Post here, keep the rest of the forum area clear.

They are mostly free but they have recently added a complete multiplication download (which you pay for) which I have found to be really useful. I have some faves to add to this list if I may. has a lot of links to different free things. Some are ongoing and others are limited time offers. is a charlotte mason based curriculum and most, but not all, of the books are free online. is completely free and she has weekly schedules for every grade up to 11th but there is only a booklist for 12th.

I hope this helps.

Some sites i used and enjoy. time 4 sharing:
