Considering Ursa Minor Learning or Ambleside Onliune for 10th grade?

Postby rigr » Thu Aug 03, 2017 6:53 am

It's looking like my tenth grade sister is going to come spend the year with us. I get some teenaged help and she gets to not go to public school, which makes everyone happy. We've been looking around at curriculum and since she likes the idea of Charlotte Mason, I was thinking of doing Ursa Minor Learning (ursaminorlearning.com), which looks pretty good. I can't find any reviews though, since they seem to be new, but I haven't seen any other secular Charlotte Mason style plans, but my other though was tweaking AmblesideOnline (amblesideonline.org). Which do you think would be a good choice for a academically oriented 10th grader who likes the humanities and science? Anyone actually use either before? Thanks!
