Activity idea to share:National Young Game Inventors Contest

Postby ugames » Mon Jul 01, 2013 4:49 pm

My friend who is a homeschooling parent suggested I share this contest as she loved the idea and is having her kids participate. I work for a game and toy company, University Games, in San Francisco and we are organizing on and promoting a young game makers' contest, The National Young Game Inventors’ Contest™ (NYGIC).

NYGIC is an annual contest that encourages imagination, critical thinking, deductive reasoning and creativity through board game invention. We invite kids ages 5-12 to use their imaginations to invent, design and submit a complete board game. In a world filled with high tech toys, the contest is an effort to reach out to children and families to bring back social interaction through game play.

The inventors have a chance to win prizes including a trip to San Francisco, Toy R Us gift cards, and more. In addition, the winning game may be produced by University Games for our 2014 lineup.

For more information and to enter, visit the link –http://www.universitygames.com/nygic/

Happy to chat more to provide information. Look forward to hearing from you.

Thank you!

https://connections-nyt.io - Each puzzle presents a new challenge, testing players' vocabulary, logic, and lateral thinking skills as they strive to uncover the hidden connections between seemingly unrelated concepts.
