Home Schooling Laws in Mexico?

Postby Crys » Mon Feb 01, 2010 3:34 pm

I am interested in maybe homeschooling my 9 yr old daughter and 7 year old son. I live in Cancun, Qroo. Mexico and am an English teacher, I am disappointed in the school system here and want to see how it would work to home school them. I am not sure what the laws are, can they certificates from the U.S. although they are mexican citizens, how can I get material etc. If anyone can help me it would be truly appreciated.
Thank You

Here is a place to get started:

http://www.hslda.org/hs/international/M ... efault.asp

From that website:

"Legal Status: Without clear compulsory attendance laws, homeschooling is flourishing legally."
