Indians Home schooling

Postby amol » Mon Apr 01, 2013 2:33 pm

Well,
found your post, it dated back in 2009, I am just curious if you found any Indian home schooling parents. I am Indian and looking into homeschooling my children, well they are still toddlers so I have a long way to go.
We live in Ohio and there are not many Indian parents who do home schooling around here, as far as I know.

Thanks for looking
Amol

Hi Amol!
I found your post when I was searching to find Indian homeschooling kids. I'm also planning to homeschool my daughter. What is your experience? Do you follow a specific curriculum? I found pearson and houghtonmiflin are providing home school curriculum. Do you have any exposure to those curriculum? How do you keep kids occupied with daily activities? How the daily routine looks like for your kid?
I'm getting more discouragement for homeschooling. Please share your thoughts.

Thanks.
