8 Year Old Son w/Type 1 Diabetes and ADHD

I've been Homeschooling my 8 year old son for over 3 years and it's been very challenging. The first 2 years were the worse. Within the last year things have gotten a little better. Everything has to be constantly repeated and redone, which I feel are the benefits of Homeschooling a Special Needs child. The curriculum can be done at your own pace. Unfortunately, I've spent so much time on his education that I have lacked his social life. It would be nice to meet other Homeschooling parents in my area with children his age that he can interact with, but that's easier said then done. We reside in Belleville, New Jersey.
