Special Needs of Gifted Child

Postby Moving on » Mon Dec 16, 2013 7:49 am

I am homeschooling my gifted child. It is not a breeze as people may expect. He has difficulty socializing with other kids who don't share his intellectual interests and abilities. It is also hard to keep him motivated. Anyone out there homeschooling a gifted child?

Actually, I don't have even one, but as far as I experienced handling some special kids, they are loveable children and they enjoy friends. I think you need to make his friends to others. Give him simple get together with some friends he has and bring new friends for him to familiarize. Try anything he deserves to enjoy life. :) Are they love to solve like MyMathdone subject or Science path?
