Since I will have a 2nd grader and a Kinder kid, I decided to practice splitting my day between the two.
In the mornings, I work with my first/second grader for about 2-3 hours.
I give the 4yo little things to do. Coloring books, word searches, Bible tapes, puzzles etc. Sometimes he will get noisy or a bit annoyed, but he usually sits there and does what he does by himself.
Then for the second part of the day I give my first/second grader things to do and I work with my 4yo for about an hour or so. We work on reading and simple math.
