Membership also protects your right as a home educator by supporting Home Education Foundation (HEF), our lobbyists in Tallahassee; $10 from every membership is sent to HEF."

Gulf Coast Christian Home Educators Association (GCCHEA) functions because of the cooperative efforts of ALL its members. There is no “THEY”, but rather “WE” who make things happen.
"I understand that those in leadership and other positions are also busy home educating their children.
I am expected to:"
1. Meet the requirements of the Florida State Law in regards to home schooling.
2. Be responsible for the safety and conduct of my children as well as any other children in my care at all GCCHEA functions.
3. Be aware that wherever we are, our family is always representing other home schooling families and GCCHEA, whether positive or negative.
4. Be diligent to protect the privacy of all our members.
5. Be careful when speaking on behalf of GCCHEA in the event of doing informal public interviews. The Steering Committee will be given advance notice when doing a formal interview.
6. Be an active participant in GCCHEA.
