Welcome to Homeward Bound Mesa Homeschoolers!

Homeward Bound is a collection of many different homeschool families gathering to provide support and friendship. I invite all those who are just as eager as I am to be fully involved in their children’s homeschool journey.

Socialization will be provided in the form of Park Play Dates. Play dates will be scheduled at various locations to encourage participation. This will inspire us to find new parks, share our favorite parks with others, and to kindle our sense of adventure. We organize Holiday events, Birthday parties, and fun monthly projects and assignments.

In town Field trips to the Zoo, Museum, hiking, Library or any other event will be scheduled once a month. Out of Town Field trips will be scheduled three times a year. Please be aware we may require a small fee to participate in the out-of-town Field trips this will help us find any group discounts there might be.

Parent meetings will be held every third Thursday of the month. The meetings are an hour and a half and provide opportunities for discussions on curriculums, advice or assistance from VHPs (Veteran Homeschool Parents), Guest speakers, Red Carpet Welcome for new members, Q&A’s, and Sharing Sessions. Members are not required to attend but strongly encouraged.

We welcome all homeschool families and respect and value those with different views, faiths, or beliefs. Please join this group if you’re looking for fun, support, and lasting friendships for your family.
