I'm Meghan (or Meg). I have two boys, ages four and one. My four year old still has one more full school year before he'd be expected to start kindergarten. Locally we have a half day K program, which makes me happy because I can't bear the thought of sending him off all day yet!
My husband and I have not made the decision to HS yet, but we are reading as much as we can. Some days I'm 100% certain we should HS, other days I get scared and think he'd be happier in public school. We live in a small town with a very good public school, but still I worry about the peer dependence, etc. My older son LOVES to learn and I just want to make sure that's fostered for his whole life.

We have lived in Orange County for two years. Before that, we were in Silicon Valley. I lived in Santa Cruz for 4 years and Pacific Grove for 1 year.
I grew up in the Montpelier area, but lived in Burlington/Essex Junction from 1991-1995. Where in Vt. are you? |
