I have posted this on a different post as a helpful guide for someone but decided I might as well share it with everyone. These are all free resources for those who aren't able to afford expensive books, curriculums.
Language Arts
http://www.teach-nology.com/worksheets/language_arts/ A nifty site filled with worksheets ranging from beginners and working your way through to advanced language.
Science -
http://www.design-your-homeschool.com/easy-science-experiments.html#freescienceexperimentebooks - Is great for science related experiments teaching your children about magnetism, electricity, chemistry and different aspects of science. *These experiments on the site are given to you for free with video tutorials.*
http://www.uq.edu.au/_School_Science_Lessons/year1to6.html#PrimaryScienceLessons - This is an excellent free resource for science which categorizes different sections of science for years 1- 6
http://www.eequalsmcq.com/classicsciinfo.htm - Good for introduction to biology, physics and chemistry. You can obtain one of the books for free but then the others you can buy for a low cost. **PLEASE NOTE: I am NOT affiliated with this website, I just think it's a good science curriculum**
History:
Cant help you out here since I don't know which country history you want hehe
Music:
http://musicmoz.org/Education/Courses_and_Lessons/ - Although a lot of children do learn music, I'm never fussed with it and most of the time don't teach it.
Arts -
http://www.kinderart.com/ Is for free art resources. You will have to look around the site and find what you are looking for. A vast range of lessons on this site.
This is what I have found so far and will continue to find free helpful resources for you, however I am rushed to go to work now but I will keep posting later tonight.
I wish you goodluck in your homeschooling success ! _________________ Learn The Amazing New Breakthrough to Homeschool Children. Reveal UNKNOWN Strategies, Tips And Tricks That Experts Have Been HIDING For Years... For a free e-course webinar go to: http://www.childrenhomeschooling.com |

I have stickied this because it's a fairly large list and we may as well use the thread to store any other links to free resources that people feel like posting. Post here, keep the rest of the forum area clear. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

I love this site for free curriculum:

This is not my website. I am amazed at all that is available. Perhaps this can help someone else.

I've been using this website for useful resources for my 5 and 7 year olds. They are mostly free but they have recently added a complete multiplication download (which you pay for) which I have found to be really useful. They have got lots of KS1 free worksheets which my son enjoys using. The website is www.mymumdesigns.com |

I have some faves to add to this list if I may.
http://www.freelyeducate.com has a lot of links to different free things. Some are ongoing and others are limited time offers.
http://www.amblesideonline.org/ is a charlotte mason based curriculum and most, but not all, of the books are free online.
http://oldfashionededucation.com/ is completely free and she has weekly schedules for every grade up to 11th but there is only a booklist for 12th.
I hope this helps. |

Homeschooling Programs is one with good initial info.
i'm aware that this is a homeschooling forum, but after all, unschooling has a very similar philosophy. unschooling.
if you yet to know a-z, its about time you do.
hope you benefit it (at least as much as i do) |

Here is a list of pdf files for high school subjects. Each file contains free courses and/or supplements for courses.
http://upliftingeducation.net/high-school-weekly-guides.php
Discovering the Real Me, a character education program, offers comprehensive moral education. Its easy-to-follow textbooks and teacher manuals feature stories that present moral challenges. The curriculum begins with lessons based on fables for students in grades 1 and 2. It continues with lessons based on fairy tales for students in grades 3 and 4. The series builds to "Preparing for Life in Society," for students in grade 12. Each book has 17 lessons with 2 sessions each so if one session is done each week, it will take a total of 36 weeks to complete the grade. Lessons usually begin with a story and continue with learning objectives and suggestions for interactive exercises.

Our company has recently made our newest textbook available online for free. It's useful for a real life applications of math type of course and also has some chapters on financial literacy. This book was written by Dr. Ron Larson, a premier math author whose books are used by more than 5 million students annually.
There is no gimmick. This book really is available completely free and requires no login or personal information. You can access it at www.mathandyou.com
