It's a good idea to check your state law once in a while, not just for what it does say, but also for what it does NOT say. For instance, it may come as a surprise that Washington State doesn't require a foreign language. That doesn't mean you shouldn't teach a foreign language, because there are a lot of good reasons for doing that in high school. Still, it's worth noting that it isn't a required subject for homeschoolers in Washington State. Here is a blog post that describes the law in detail: _________________ Blessings,
