I am wondering if I use Rod & Staff math up through 8th grade will that prepare my son for 9th grade Algebra? I have looked at their 8th grade program and it looks like it includes pre-algebra in the second half of 8th grade. Have other people done this and what have you used for 9th grade Algebra?
Thank you,
Lisa |

Saxon is good up through Algebra II or so, then you can transition to a college Calculus textbook (always includes an intro chapter or two on trig). _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

People on other forums report that their dc went directly from R&S's 7th or 8th grade math into algebra with no problems at all. They used different publishers for algebra. _________________ Married to Mr. Ellie for over 30 years
