Hi all!

I'm new to the forum and just wanted to get out there and chat a little. I am not actually a homeschool parent, but an undergraduate Chinese major and I am currently working on setting up opportunities to tutor in Chinese after I graduate.

I was thinking that, from my own experience with homeschooled kids growing up and with the homeschool parents I know now, this would be a great group to talk to about tutoring!

But since I *know* this isn't supposed to be promotional, I'm really on the blog just to talk with parents about if (and how) they do foreign language teaching. I've skimmed a few other forums and talked to a few people, and it seems that this is something that homeschool parents don't frequently embark on. So I just wanted to talk to and get to know people to learn more about the community and how to approach parents that homeschool and homeschooling groups/organizations.
