Hello! My name is Rachel, and I am a stay at home mom for my 3 boys. I am considering home school for my 2 oldest boys who will be in 1st and 3rd grade. My husband and I were both teachers, but I have stayed at home with my boys since they were born, and now he has changed career paths and will be home with us much of the time. I have been lurking on this site to find out more about home school, and we are really thinking we are going to give it a shot. We have been happy with our son's elementary school, but really like the idea of tailoring the curriculum to meet each of the boys needs and being able to incorporate piano (which I teach) more into their daily curriculum also. Anyway, this is a great site and I am learning so much already.
