If you haven't tried planting vegetables for the fall, it is just the right time.
Lettuce, spinach, kale, radishes, peas, and depending where you live, broccoli and cauliflower, are cool weather vegetables. If you don't have much space, use large pots.
Get the children involved as a science project.
If you cannot locally find seeds this time of year, they can be ordered from seed companies. Do a search and you will find plenty. |
