Anyone know where I can get childrens books in pdf? I am overseas and want to download pdfs and despite lots of searching I cant find anything, which surprised me. I can pay.

I want to print out books, for my seven year old who is currently interested in nonfiction, facts and stuff about various things, planets, animals, etc., but I love stories.

I dont have access to english language books in hard copy.

help!

Hi there

Wowio has some neat stuff for kids and a pretty big selection. They're not free, but you can preview them online and buy them as PDFs. Smile

Manybooks has free, public domain (i.e., old) books, also available in PDF. They don't have much stuff post-1920 because of copyright law, so that might not be too helpful when it comes to nonfiction, but they have lots of classics. I read a -lot- of books from there, so if you'd like some recommendations, I might be able to pull out a few. Smile

i dont have an ereader or anything. looking for pdfs i can print out. i checked out wowio and sent them a note asking if I can print. couldn't find any info on that.

how about pdfs that you can print out as little books for kids to read?
