Hi there,
I am seriously going crazy trying to decide on curriculum for my rising 2nd, 4th and 7th/6th graders next year. 2nd grader still struggling to read. Did FLL 1 with her this past year. 4th did FLL 3 in 3rd. 7th did no grammar for past two years (since we started homeschooling).
Considering:
Shurley (looks overwhelming and also they don't diagram..and time to do with 3 kids??)
Abeka Language (Just grammar for oldest)
Easy Grammar just for oldest
BJU Press All Language Arts for younger 2 (again, time to teach??? and I prefer real books)
Rod & Staff Hear it's good too
FLL 2 and 4 for younger two, but this ONLY covers grammar...not really usage, mechanics, etc
MCT or GWG---mixed reviews on both of these.
I know a lot of it is subjective, but really hoping for some input on what is a solid program. Thanks! |

Of those choices, I would go with R&S for all of your dc. _________________ Married to Mr. Ellie for over 30 years
