Iridology?
I am desparate to feel well again. Precious time is getting away from me as I am sent to doctor after doctor for this procedure and that.
I welcome any and all opinions regarding Iridology. Is it for real?
Thanks! |

To be honest, it sounds completely worthless - about as much use as reading lines on your hand or the bumps on your head. I'm a big fan of natural remedies, but only ones that make reasonable sense.
What are your overall symptoms that require going to doctor after doctor? If the symptoms vary widely, it could be a systemic problem such as heavy metal poisoning (mercury from fillings, for instance). Doctors often don't look into things like that. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for PC, Mac, Linux

Yeah. I was thinking it sounded like hogwash. A friend of mine works at a natural remedy type shop and the owner is an Iridologist. She swears by it.
It's funny that you mentioned fillings...I happen to have 6 mercury amalgam ones. Hmmmm.
The symptoms are widespread and seemingly unrelated. It would seem that my whole right side is turning against me. Pain is the most prominent one. Aching, burning, tingling, shooting. I have a few enlarged lymph nodes and some thyroid nodules(too small to biopsy).
My next stop...mammogram, then the neurologist.
I'm all about getting to the root of a problem and fixing it. Not just treating symptoms.
Thanks for taking the time to respond. It may be worth my time to get these fillings replaced. It's very pricey but so is all this other stuff I'm having to do. |

Might be worth being tested for mercury poisoning, then. Mom had high levels of mercury when she was tested, so she had her fillings drilled out and went through chelation after that to remove as much mercury as possible. Given, the chelation will make you feel pretty sick, but if you do have mercury poisoning, a month of chelation is better than a lifetime of suffering. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for PC, Mac, Linux
