I don't know about using this curriculum but if you wanted you could enter your own lists (or Natural Speller's) on spellingtime.com and they help drill your child...
I'm thinking the concept is they teach you how to spell based on word part meanings and so on, right? I'd love to see some examples of what that means exactly.
I guess you could try some of the things they did on Akeelah and the Bee. (jumping rope while spelling, flash cards, working on certain etymologies at a time, using rhythm to help) _________________ Mom to John (8yo) and Hanna (19mo) |
