Hello everyone! I am very new the the homeschooling world. In fact, I haven't even started yet. I have 3 boys who are 2, 3, & 4 years old. My husband and I have always wanted to homeschool our children, and I am just trying to do my homework before we get started. I am reading Mary Pride's Complete Guide to Getting Started in Homeschooling. She advises to join other homeschoolers online, so here I am!
My husband is a captain in the army, and we are currently stationed in Florida. I am a stay-at-home mom. We were foster parents and adopted our 3 boys when they were babies.
I am very excited about homeschooling, but I am also a little overwhelmed. There is so much information out there now, that it can be confusing. I know this is what God wants us to do and that it's best for our family. Those two things are what keeps me going. I am currently trying to read everything I can get my hands on about homeschooling. If anybody has any advice or encouragement, it would be greatly appreciated! |
