Hi, I am new to this forum, but not really new to homeschooling. I am unusual in that I didn't start homeschooling until my kids were in 7th grade. I homeschooled by oldest two years 8th & 9th grade and he was ready to go back to school. My second son I homeschooled four of his jr/sr high years, he was able to graduate with Ohdela, an Ohio Distance learning homeschool that we signed up for his senior year, giving him a transcript and valid graduation certificate. My third son only lasted one year homeschooling and wanted to go back to school.
In 14 years of having kids in school, this is the first year that I have a son in public school (junior year). He seems solid and doing well.
My youngest started homeschooling last year in 8th grade and loves it. She is in 9th grade this year, we will take it one year at a time.
My two oldest are in college and doing well. _________________ Ruth Ridley
