Hi Jerry,
Welcome to the forum.
I already know about some of these websites, like the math forum (ask Dr. Math).
Looks like you left out www.mathcats.com
Have you seen that one yet? |

Yes , I had that one listed. , thank you for the welcome.
I figured from my list , it was already growing to big.
I tried to break up the catagories to fit the subject and then place seveal websites for each one.
I posted in the --guest book-- forum [ read that ].
I have been a home schooler advocate for 30 years , with my own children being home schooled.
They did very well as they moved out into the world
I believe that any parent who tries will do fine.
There is plenty of help available ....
I am waiting to see how or if these work before I place anymore.
As a former teacher and Prof. I have more websites then I could ever write down.
So if this works and I get replies I will list other subjects and offer help were needed.
I presently run a forum for my alma mata , and do on line mentoring.
Have a great day ...and thanks for the reply _________________ Hi, Looking for home schoolers in the Lewiston,Idaho or Clarkston, Wa. area?

Hey, how did you guys miss the website that math teachers use for class lessons?
www.TheMathWebSite.com.
It also has a blog at
www.HighSchoolMath.Blogspot.com.
It even has a google group called "High School Math", but this is useless if you are not in a classroom. |

Thanks for pulling together this list. It is very useful. I would suggest adding Math Buddy (http://www.mathbuddyonline.com), which we use for both my sons Jason (8 year old) and Bobby (10 year old). They also publish a free question everyday which I have found to be very useful as a homeschooling parent.
Cheers

Great list Jerry,
I'd like to add http://www.algebra-class.com. Yes, I am the owner of this website and I've been working very hard to provide parents and children with examples and practice problems that they can understand!
I hope that anyone who is taking Algebra finds this to be a valuable resource!
I would also love to know what parents /or students are looking for in a website! I want to make this as useful as possible and it helps to know what people are looking for.
If anyone visits, I'd love your feedback!
Thanks!
