I grade the kids work, but it doesn't really MEAN anything. For instance, I mark answers right and wrong and put a score of 10/12 at the top of their paper, but no letter grade is attached to it. When it comes to Math we work on a topic until they consistently get a perfect score. For spelling they get a weekly test and if they are not happy with how they have done they can re-take the test in a few days.
When they get older, not sure exactly how old, I will give them a letter grade. But for right now, our current system meets our needs. _________________ Dawn
