Here it's French, English and German as mother-tongue and we're among a Spanish community.
For all you who are studying German with small children (1-3 year olds). I recommend the movie "Kleiner Dodo". It's very melodious and fun.

I speak to our kids in Chinese and my husband speaks to them in English. My son is now 5 and started kindergarten.

Now he goes to an after-school program to learn Chinese and we read books like My First Chinese Words and other storybooks in Chinese. You can find lots of Western classic storybooks like Guess How Much I Love You that have been translated into Chinese to read to your kids on http://www.BetterChinese.com.
