| Mostly Spanish but only because we want to know what people around us are saying and some German. I am looking at Latin but haven't made up my mind yet on that one. |

I did two years of Latin, but in retrospect, Spanish would probably have been more useful. A large portion of the US population speaks that. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

Soon, I will be starting German, then Spanish will come next. I would like to keep working on Spanish for the rest of my education so that I am able to speak it fluently. I've heard that the ability to speak foreign languages can get you into more/better career fields. While I'm doing Spanish, I would also enjoy learning some Italian or Latin. _________________ "What we want to see is the child in pursuit of knowledge, not knowledge in pursuit of the child."

Spanish, but we have lollygagged for too long. This year I intend to be more diligent. We use Rosetta Stone, which uses the puter. Problem is, sometimes the puter is undependable.
I also have a lot of supplements to use this year and I'm also thinking of buying another spanish software I've sampled online to use as supplement also. I've waited for the price to come down and it has , so I might order it - maybe. _________________ I not only use all the brains I have, but all I can borrow. - Woodrow Wilson. |

Classical Greek
French
I didn't see Sign Languages.
We will also be studying Spanish in the future and maybe Hebrew. |

Interesting point, but I'm afraid we didn't have room to list every language, just the most common. There are hundreds of spoken languages not on the list as well. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC

Wow, I'm suddenly feeling overwhelmed. I have a 3rd grader and a Pre-K should I be doing this already? We are learning sign language which has been a blast - and comes in handy when I'm on the phone and my kids need to ask me a question
I'm just wondering what grade all of your children are in to be learning ALL those languages?? _________________ Teresa, mother to Mackenzie (8 ), Breanna (4) and Emmalee (5months) |

For us we started Japanese when my oldest daughter was 5. We started Classic Latin when she was 6 (this year). Each year we are going to add another language with Russian and Greek being the next two languages. _________________ The Ultimate Home Schooling Record Book |

Do you speak these naturally or did you have to learn as well? What did you use? I want my children to know several other languages I just don't know how to go about doing it? _________________ Teresa, mother to Mackenzie (8 ), Breanna (4) and Emmalee (5months) |

I am learning them as well. It is kinda fun because my daughter and I study them together and we both take the tests together. So it works out good for us.
My stepfather, whom my kids are around a lot speaks fluent Japanese, thus the reason we started it. He helps us both out with Japanese. _________________ The Ultimate Home Schooling Record Book |

Are you following a curriculum or do you have any recommendations? It's something I'd like to do in the next few years. Thanks _________________ Teresa, mother to Mackenzie (8 ), Breanna (4) and Emmalee (5months) |
