Hello everyone! I just wanted to let everyone know that I am currently in the process of creating a webbased tool that'll allow you to track your homeschool students' grades and assignments. I need to find people interested in helping me through testing. If you're interested in BETA testing, please sign up at the link below. You will be notified via email when updates are available and the tool will be ready to use.

Feature will include:
- Daily Planner/Calendar
- Ability to share Curriculums
- Customer Grading System
- Online Record Tracking
- Online Journal
- Homeschool Community
- Community Calendar
- And More!

Again when launched, this resouce will be FREE of charge to everyone!

I checked yes and actually already have a tool. Homeschool Tracker Plus does all that (although it is not web-based). However it is not free either. So I think it's a great idea.

Would you mind sharing with me what it is you like about Homeschool Tracker? We are planning on expanding past just a tracking tool and making it into more of a online home office for homeschooling.

The things that I like/use on HST are:

attendance tracking
field trip log
creating a daily assignment list for my son
Lesson planning, and the ability to import lesson plans from other users

I like all of Homeschool Tracker's features, but one of latest ones is the ISBN look up to track any resources with an ISBN, books read, books and media available in our home library, books/media borrowed, etc. with less data entry on my part.

I LOVE its journal features for both the teacher and student and that I can have more than one category of journals, so I have one personal and one about my daughter, but I can see where those with more than one child could have a journal for each.

Although I don't personally use all its features yet, I think one of the features that many people like is that they can share lessons plans, as MNKristy mentioned. That cuts down on the work when one person inputs the information of a particular curriculum and then shares it.

Yours is an interesting idea, but I personally would not be interested in having to go online to keep my homeschool records, even if the program is free. I believe that Homeschool Tracker is affordable particularly with all it offers which is more than sufficient for my needs and this with free updates for life and its here with me. Even if they don't update it for years, I can still use the present OS and I will not lose my records (if I have them backed up properly). However, websites come and go. Having my records dependent on an external source of which I have no control... that just does not appeal to me, regardless of the features.

Sorry.

Registration has a bug, and there's no way to log in that I can see. All the site does right now is farm for emails.

What is happening? We are looking to launch the website tool the first or second week in September.

There's a page error after you submit the registration. Just go through the registration process yourself and you should see what I mean. You should also include a note in registration that you won't be able to log in until x date, since a lot of people will feel gypped after registering and then finding out there's no login.

I signed up for your site, but I was not given the option for a screen name or anyway to log in. Your last post said it should be ready by September 17, but I'm not able to use it, and it's now December.
If your able to get it up and going I think it will be good thing for some folks. I realize that life happens and gets in the way of our intentions, but if it's not useable and your not sure when or if it will be useable, then I think your webpage should reflect that.

I just signed up as well, and didn't access anything. Am I doing something wrong?
