My story is, I guess, different.
I'm a stay-at-homeschool dad. I lost my job nearly four years ago and haven't been able to get back into the job market. My wife, on the other hand, is moving up at work.
Until last August, she was working nights and homeschooling the kids (ages now are 7 and 2 1/2) during the day while I futilely looked for work. Then, she was offered a promotion, but she would have to move to days. So, we prayed about it, and determined that the best thing would be for me to take over the homeschooling.
I abandoned my job search and began working with my kids. It's harder work than I've ever done in my life. My hat's off to all who stay at home with their kids - you have a real job.
Well, that's me. Howdy. Maybe I can find a peer here. _________________ Adios,
