| My sons teacher is thinking of keeping him in second grade, cause of his slow reading. I don't know what to do. He is adhd. The only thing I don't understand is his comprehension is very good, his handwriting is wonderful and his spelling is outstanding. What is wrong with him? What can i do for him. |

The best way to speed up in anything is to practice it more. Get him some books he'll enjoy reading. As for the ADHD, that's just a label slapped on kids who like to move around a lot rather than sitting quietly in one place like nice little robots. Just need to add some short breaks every hour or so, more physical exercise, maybe less sugar depending on your son's diet. If you homeschool, you have a lot more freedom to implement changes like this. _________________ The Farming Game - Software Edition for Mac and PC
