Math Grade 12

Postby BroadwayStarlet7 » Tue Mar 07, 2006 8:26 am

I am in 12th grade and have just started home-schooling. I was wondering if someone could suggest a good math book for the 12th grade, I believe I was in Math B3 before I left and was looking for a teachers edition for the same course. Thank you.

What would 12th grade correspond to? Alg. II? Advanced Math? Calculus? If you haven't yet reached a level that you have trouble comprehending, I suggest Saxon; otherwise, you may wish to get a book that explains the concepts in more detail, such as Calculus: Early Transcendental Functions Third Edition (Larson, Hostetler, Edwards). That particular book is fairly expensive, but it covers everything from Pre-Calc up through Calculus 3, so you won't have to buy another book.

I took Saxon's "Advanced Math" book when I was in 12th - it helped me with pre-calc, trig and other higher forms of math.
