Yes, you definitely can homeschool!

When my grandparents first came to the United States, they spoke no English (they are from Nicaragua), and yet they decided to homeschool their youngest son (my uncle).

My uncle speaks perfect English (great grammar, no accent); graduated
summa cum laude at his university (with highest honor); and is now on his way to medical school.

My siblings and I are also homeschooled, and we speak both English and Spanish at our house--I commend you for doing the same.

Here are some tips that have worked for my family:

1) Television: get your daughter to watch a lot of educational, child-friendly television.
PBS kids is one of the best options out there. Many of the programs here are specifically intended to teach children reading and vocabulary (my siblings LOVE Martha Speaks).

2) Reading: encourage your daughter to read as much as possible. Get her fun books you know she will like. For example, my brothers and sisters love Martha Speaks, so we make sure we get Martha Speaks books!

3) Playing: encourage her to play in English.

4) Curriculum: you can use any curriculum you want, as many curricula as you want, and often times, your own homemade curriculum (which is what I would advise).
Our family likes Starfall because they have lots of free material. Starfall is great for preschool, kindergarten, first grade, or any child wanting to improve his reading skills.

5) Don't forget to teach her as much polish as you can (that includes reading and writing). Believe me, it is a huge blessing to learn an entire language as a child!

I hope this helps, and God bless! :)
The Lord has greatly blessed me: I am the oldest daughter of ten children, and I LOVE it!
