Looking for dvd history curriculum

Postby krisj1980 » Fri Oct 04, 2013 7:59 pm

Does anyone know of a fully online or a dvd history curriculum. This is one subject that I do not enjoy teaching and have a habit of putting it off and not doing it at all.

Fun history help

Postby palori » Wed Oct 16, 2013 9:40 am

I don't know of an entire DVD history curriculum per se, but if you're looking for great tools to help teach history in this age group, consider going to www.chestercomix.com. My son absolutely loves these and he has aced his history Standard of Learning tests (SOL's) in Virginia every year. He is now starting 6th grade and STILL remembers this stuff! Plus it makes it fun and who doesn't love a comic book! Hope this helps!

I've never heard of this but will definitely take a look at it. Thanks for the information.

BJU Press offers online history through the Distance Learning. You can do just that one subject if you like.
