Is it too late?

Postby Char-91 » Wed Nov 01, 2006 5:18 am

I've just turned 15, from the UK and I'm in year 10 (ive got this year and the next to go at highschool).
There isnt a serious reason i want to HS, nothing like bullying etc but i just feel like i am one of these kids who doesnt suit public school :?
I've got good grades and I'm in top classes for most things...i dont want to wreck this by being brought out too late?
My mum isnt a teacher and we would need alot of help...but would it be worth it?

I would have loved the option to homeschool when I was in High School. I felt much the same as you do.

Here in the US, there are correspondence and online private schools...could that be an option for you? They keep records and you get and actual High School diploma, so it doesn't effect the process of going to university. The tend to cost more than homeschooling totally on your own, but less than a regular private school.
