I'm homeschooled, when should I take the SAT/ACT?

I'm homeschooled, when should I take the SAT/ACT?

I'm a H.S Senior, and stressing about college. My mom says I should start filling out app., but I didn't take the SAT/ ACT. PLUS I'm not dont with HS and should be done early 2007. How does a Homeschooler go about taking the SAT/ACT test?
