Hi, my name is Dyana. I'm a SAHM of 3. I'm starting my 4th yr of homeschooling. My oldest goes to a local high school so I only homeschool my younger 2 aged 10 and 7. I enjoy it very much. I joined here just looking to learn new things and meet other homeschooling families. _________________ Whatever you can do or dream you can, begin it. Hi,
We will be using Math For You later this year. Right now we are using games, and hands on things. ie cooking, measuring using a ruler.
My daughter had a tough time in math last year. When tested she was at the second half of first grade level. She had just completed 3rd grade. Because her reading and comprehension was at a fifth grade level they felt she would do fine. I did not, hence we are homeschooling. The women who helped set up her program suggested we start by having her do fun things with math since she has built up a wall around this subject.
How about you? What kinds of programs are you doing?
