hands-on astronomy for middle school
We are using the Abeka science curriculum. Looking for a hands-on astronomy resource to supplement. Something that could be used in the backyard-- preferably Kindle, laptop or iPod user interface. Any suggestions?
Here are some links that should be helpful.

subscription services versus Kindle book
Thanks for these web-based subscription services.
I didn't expect to get quality resources for free, but I would like to get something that is electronic and will cross platforms. Laptop glare has been a problem for the web-based materials we have tried.
Now that the Kindle is finally both affordable and multi-platform (laptop, Kindle, iPhone) there must be a Kindle book that will meet our needs inexpensively.
Any suggestions?
