Anyone Here from RI?

Postby momndad » Sat Jan 23, 2010 9:35 pm

We are in process of withdrawing our child (6th grade) and are learning about how to go about this. We've had precious little help here from the school board- perhaps this is normal. Anyway, thanks for anyone's time here...

The Rhode Island home school Association is the best resource for legal advice. At the following link you will find two available associations in your State...both give legal information, and you can usually call them for more help.

It's pretty common for local school boards not to be helpful, but that's to be expected, really.

Here is HSLDA's legal analysis of RI law.
Married to Mr. Ellie for over 40 years
Mother to 2 dds and 2 dsil
Grandmother to 1 sweet boy
Servant of 1 kitteh
