Rod & Staff prep for 9th grade Algebra

Postby 4boymom » Fri Jan 30, 2009 9:02 am

I am wondering if I use Rod & Staff math up through 8th grade will that prepare my son for 9th grade Algebra? I have looked at their 8th grade program and it looks like it includes pre-algebra in the second half of 8th grade. Have other people done this and what have you used for 9th grade Algebra?

Thank you,
Lisa

Saxon is good up through Algebra II or so, then you can transition to a college Calculus textbook (always includes an intro chapter or two on trig).
