Does a curriculum written in Spanish exists?

Postby mayramanuel » Mon Jan 30, 2006 3:22 am

Spanish is our main language in Puerto Rico and I want to homeschool my kids in Spanish and teach English as their second language. Does anybody know if there is there a curriculum written in Spanish that I can use? I'll appreciate your help.

It's been a while since you posted this. I hope you've found a curriculum but if not, I think Usborne makes a series in Spanish. Here's a link to their main page. Hope this helps.

I have a catalogue that has a Spanish Curriculum. The web address is www.learningresources.com. Also check out Frog Street Press. You'll have to google it to get the web address. I sure hope this helps you.

ACE/School of Tomorrow lists the following on their website:

http://www.schooloftomorrow.com/curriculum/spanish.asp

Grammar: Levels 1-5 (Level 6 coming soon!)
Social Studies: Levels 1-6
Science: Levels 1-6
Math: Levels 1-6
Word Building: Levels 1 and 2
Also available in Spanish are:
A B Cs with Ace and Christi: Learning-to-Read Program
Cursive Handwriting (to be used with Level 3 curriculum)

Conservative Bible based work text type curriculum. Math used to proceed rather slowly at the lower levels. You probably would want to supplement the literature with real books & maybe some unit studies for variety.
