Can someone tell me if I can claim club soccer and weight training as electives for 1 credit each(all year) or tell me how I can find out this info??. I am in North Carolina. Thanks. _________________ Have a great day!

I searched around a bit and found this list of courses from University of Wisconsin and this list from University of Michigan. My best guess is you can count one credit per sport, and another easy (and potentially useful) couple credits would be first aid training. One credit of phys ed is required for official North Carolina high school graduation, and other credit(s) can be applied towards free electives (or, if you are going into a physical education field of study, unit concentration):
NC Board of Education High School Graduation Requirements (as of 2006/2007):

Thanks so much!! My son has attended two years in private h.s., He is taking the weight training at our local fitness center. This would be his 3rd year. He checks in and there is always a personal trainer there. We have already had the phys ed requirement. He is an athlete, and plays U19 soccer, also. He will be concurrent enrollment at our local junior college.
Thanks, again! _________________ Have a great day!
