Any California residents out there homeschooling overseas?

Is anyone homeschooling overseas but lived in CA before your move? We lived in CA and now we've been in Fiji for over a year. We'll be homeschooling next year and I still cannot figure out if we need to file the Private School Affidavit.

I've written to every organization I can think of, the school district we last lived in and the CA Dept. of Education and have received no responses. From what I can tell, this only rule only applies to those living in CA. As we clearly are not living in CA, I think we are exempt but I want to be certain first. We'll be using Calvert School curriculum, which is internationally based.
