starting fresh...kindergarten homeschool

Hi! My name is Jasmine. I have a 5 year old that went to pre k last year and with the c-scope curriculum implanted into our public school system, the husband and I have decided that we would be better off homeschooling!
So, with that said, I'm feeling a bit overwhelmed/stuck trying to figure out how to get a schedule in place and also trying to figure out the different goals we want to set for the year so if anyone has any experiences they would like to share as to how they physically got started and how they introduced this new lifestyle to their small children that would be greatly appreciated!
