My oldest was in PS for K and 1st. He was crying at home because he didn't think he was as good as the other kids. He was actually jealous of his friend that was homeschooled! when we started he was watching the school bus go by in his PJs and loved it. The cat walked by and he said "mom there are no cats in school" then I nursed the baby and he said" there are no babies at school either" then he thought and said "boy, homeschool is a lot different then regular school!" He never has wanted to go back. I know that it;s not what everyone experiences but her really wanted it and it was definitely right for him. and his brothers.
We also started a homeschool playgroup in town and met some great families that we are still active with.
I'm nervous...please tell me about your first year
