New to HS in Texas

Postby Jonesfam3 » Mon Sep 11, 2006 6:18 am

My little sister was doing very poorly in public school so my parents have decided to HS her. She is almost 16. My parents are very new to HS and anted some advice from other parents on what is the best curriculum to buy. She is currently enrolled at Sylvan for tutoring and she is at a 6th grade level according to their testing. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Do you know how she learns best?
What's her favorite subject, her most difficult?
Does she enjoy computer work, hands-on, workbooks?

Homeschool in Texas

Do a search for homeschools in the state. There are several that could provide just the services you need at a very reasonable cost or no cost at all. My own children receive their programs from a homeschool in El Paso.
