Organization for Peg Heads: Where to Keep all those Instructions?

Since each Laser Pegs kit comes with multiple build options, each set also includes several pages of instructions. It can be a challenge to keep them organized, but we have three surprisingly simple options to ensure your child can always find the one they want.

Expandable File Folder

These accordion style, pocket folders are easy to find at any major retailer. The multiple pockets within can hold all the instructions for your kits. They are lightweight and portable which makes them a great choice for smaller kids to use. Held inside their own pocket the instructions can easily be kept next to wherever your bricks are stored. File folders also usually come with simple labels which makes archiving the instructions a snap. If your children aren’t readers yet, they also come with clear pockets. Instructions can then be easily identified from the photos.

Binders with Page Protectors

Another super easy organizing solution is to put the instructions in plastic page protectors, and keep those page protectors in a binder. The advantage here is that the pages won’t get bent or torn, and kids can find whatever build they want by just flipping through the pages. Binders come in multiple sizes, so this is a great option no matter how many kits you have. The page protectors can also be swapped out at a moment’s notice, making it easy to upgrade as your collection grows.

Over the Door Shoe Organizer

Need a way to organize the instructions alongside your Laser Pegs collection? This idea works for it all! Just get an over the door shoe organizer and hang it in your child’s room. The key here is to get either clear plastic or a mesh. You’ll need to be able to see the instructions through each pocket. Otherwise organization quickly becomes a chore. The pockets will hold all the pieces and the instructions will be easily visible.

There you have it. Three simple ways to keep all those pages contained. As you get organized, remember that any lost or torn manuals can also be downloaded and printed from the Laser Pegs website.
