thoughts...

Violet: I know that an electric keyboard isn't the same, but it's better than nothing. And it would help you regain some of what you have misplaced. :)

papooses: If you can squeeze in just a little time per week that will come back to you as well.

I put my music aside for 20 years.. and no, I'm not where I should be or would have been... but I have come a long way back. :)
Sooo... don't wait as long as I did. :)

Violet: If you are looking for a piano, you might check with some piano movers/tuners. We recently had a piano moved and in talking to the man, he says he takes more pianos to the dump because people call him to get rid of them and he doesn't have room to keep them. He said he frequently runs across ones in good condition that are just unwanted. It might be a good way to get an inexpensive, albeit possibly starter, piano from someone who could both move and tune it for you. Just a thought.

I was a back-up singer in our worship team. Then one day BAM! I'm the worship leader! I'm still a back-up singer at heart. I love to find harmonies and support the melody. I've never had any training as a vocalist. I just do it by ear.

Flute and oboe were my life when I was growing up. It's been over a decade since I've done much with them. I have not introduced my sons to musical instruments, yet. They all want to play drums right now

I want to start some lessons with them...not sure what to do. I would have to teach them and that is a very overwhelming idea, right now. Hmmm...

Any suggestions?

It's quite common to have classes together. Kids enjoy company of their parents and great source for parents as well.
