We're still early on in our homeschooling journey, my oldest just about to enter second grade.
I learned about the Charlotte Mason Method and really liked the idea of it. Right now, we're a fill in the blank kind of family, but honestly, it doesn't make sense! It is all about learning to take a test. With the C M method, the children learn to love learning, learn to explore, and learn to ask questions beyond what is necessary. C M was a very smart woman. The TJEd sounds great too!
I will definitely look more into both of these and try to incorporate them into my soon to be 2nd graders work, and I'll definitely use them with my soon to be Kindergartner.
