A friend of mine gave me a bunch of books this week and one of them was in English:
A child's Histroy of the World by VM. Hillyer.
When I saw the title I remembered reading about this book in the homeschooling world. The books seems brand new and nowbody has ever read it I think.
My children's mother tongue isn't English but they do understand quite a bit. And the book is a bit too thick to read it first me to know if it is worthwile reading to them.
What is your opinion on this book? Is it true that it is a classic for homeschoolers? My kids are 10 and 8, is that a good age for the book?
Thanks for any opinions.
A child's History of the world

Nobody ever answered this question, but in the end I found out myself this week. We are introducing Charlotte Mason into our homeschool and my surprise was to find the book in the list of living books.
So if nobody knows the book: here it is:

In the end I found a spanish translation and we'll read it in spanish.
